Story

Onix is a gigantic chain of gray boulders that form a massive snake-like creature. It's famous for being the tallest Rock-type Pokémon and has a special rocky spine on its head. Onix loves living in caves and mountains where it spends its time tunneling at amazing speeds, leaving behind twisting paths perfect for Pokémon like Diglett to call home.

Onix has a unique magnet in its brain that helps it know exactly where to go, so it never loses its way underground. It munches on hard rocks to become even tougher! Sometimes, Onix can be found snoozing deep in a tunnel, protected by its unyielding rocky body. A hundred-year-old Onix might transform into a Steelix, shiny and strong like a diamond, ready for new adventures!
